Tulna

Privacy

Last updated 8 November 2026. Plain words, no legal fog.

The short version

What happens when you search

Your search words are used to look up prices. To do that, Tulna sends the product words (with your budget removed) to free search services such as Tavily or Google Programmable Search, which return shop pages. If your search is in Hindi or another language, the words may be sent to an AI service to translate them into an English product name. By default only Cloudflare's own AI reads your words; other AI services only receive Tulna's own price facts, not what you typed, unless the site owner has switched that on. These services have their own privacy policies.

What we store

On your own device

To show your "savings found", streak, badges, recent searches, dark mode and language, Tulna keeps small notes in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them in your browser or with the Clear button.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and a few anonymous actions (for example "a search happened", "the donate button was clicked"). It never receives your search words, the product or the answer. It is off if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and consent starts as "denied" in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off.

Shop links

"Go to the shop" links open the shop's own page. They are signed so nobody can swap in an affiliate link, and Tulna earns nothing from them. Once you are on a shop, that shop's privacy policy applies.

Donations

Donations are made through your own UPI app or other payment app. Tulna never sees your bank or card details.

Telegram

If you message the Tulna bot, Telegram delivers your text to us to answer it. We do not store the chat. Telegram's own policy applies to your account.
